Where Are We Up To With The Renovation Project Weavers Cottage?

It has been five months since we completed this renovation project and currently now we are waiting for our little gem of a place to sell. We have been really fortunate to have viewings on the house and actually the majority of feedback we have received has been quite good. As this was my first project and step into the world of renovating it has been lovely to hear friends and family, strangers and potential buyers, saying wonderful things about the little cottage we have created. Or certainly improved. After all, it was full of character and life anyway, it just needed someone to inject the TLC it deserved.

So at the moment we are currently in the process of changing agents, and I think we have certainly learnt a few things in the last few months it has been up for sale, which I plan on sharing our tips on that in a few weeks time. As a family we are also approaching a cross roads in terms of the next project and where we take our journey. We decided to rent a house while we took on this project and it has worked out really well for us, but the house we live in is also now on the market so we are wondering what is next for us. Ideally we hope that the sale will soon go through with Project Weavers Cottage, and then we plan on moving into a renovation project this time. Which I am sure will give us more experience as it becomes a real family affair rather than being able to lock it up when the working day is done.

There are also some changes that we may make to Project Weavers Cottage as we approach the spring and the summer. The garden was one thing we never did much to, but as winter is hopefully over, we think giving it a little love may help. However, we also think that a garden is more for personal taste so I don’t think we will do too much.

I thought a little update was in order, but look out for some more articles coming up over the next few weeks. We are also going to take part in an Instagram photo challenge this month, so head over to follow us there to see what pictures we are sharing.

For now I will leave you with my favourite picture of the renovation project so far.

We find it’s a real pain to sell recently. Good luck with it, hope it will sell fast and on a good price.

Oh wow those beams are what I dream of.
I used to work in a grade 2 listed house as a Nanny and the whole house was like this.
    Stunning

I glad the renting has been going well whilst you’ve been renovating. Those wood beams will be lovely once it’s all finished.
